At Pango, I led innovative direction and created public-facing design through all touchpoints to support Pango's mission and value. My primary objective was to continue building the brand to engage audiences, drive changes, and lead a better business. The flagship products: Hotspot Shield for secure internet access and Robo Shield for robocall blocker were my two main focuses.
Projects included: brand refresh, web content, product design, design system, Amazon Fire TV, marketing campaigns, web banners, email design, print materials, internal design assets, and more.
Along with Hotspot Shield's brand refresh, we reimagined the web experience and optimized the product to stand apart from our competitors and make people excited about the best VPN service.
As one of the visual leads, I focused on creating a minimalist design to showcase our product, enhance the user experience, and gain new customers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I recreated web content, developed a repository of the design system, and led creative direction on social marketing.
Collaborating with product designers and developers, I designed a series of icons and illustrations to support the rebranding of Pango's products and marketing needs. These visual elements live within the apps, web, and TV experience while enhancing the user interface. My role was to create consistent design executions across all channels and platforms.
In 2019, Pango launched Robo Shield, which identifies and blocks annoying spam, scam, and robocalls. It was an exciting time to promote new technology to the market through social campaigns.
As a lead designer on Robo Shield's launch, I participated in all aspects of the marketing campaigns. My role was to focus on web content, ad banners, motion graphics, and email design to advertise our new product, arouse people's interest, and support social media outreach and engagement. I worked closely with design directors, motion designers, marketing managers, and the SEO team to deliver innovative ideas.
The rebranding of Hotspot Shield and the marketing campaigns of Robo Shield went successfully. According to the data and the SEO team, our design approaches drove better customer engagement, and we saw an increase in the number of Pango subscription. That was a monument and exceeding our expectations. We are continuing to deliver products and experiences that amaze.
